Mentored Readers Sponsorship & Contributions Terms and Conditions
Thank you for supporting Mentored Readers in our mission to inspire a lifelong love of reading among children and youth. By sponsoring a child, sponsoring an event, or giving books, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- General Terms
1.1 Sponsorships and contributions are voluntary and non-refundable.
1.2 All contributions will be used exclusively for the intended purpose as outlined on our website, ensuring transparency and accountability.
1.3 Mentored Readers reserves the right to reallocate funds or resources to areas of greater need within the program, should priorities shift.
- Sponsoring a Child
2.1 Child sponsorship covers program participation fees, reading materials, and related educational activities.
2.2 Mentored Readers may provide periodic updates on the child’s progress to the sponsor where applicable.
2.3 For the privacy and protection of children, personal or direct contact with sponsored children is not permitted.
- Sponsoring an Event
3.1 Event sponsorships contribute to covering costs such as venue, materials, guest speakers, and logistics.
3.2 Sponsors will receive recognition on event materials unless anonymity is requested.
3.3 Mentored Readers reserves the right to adjust event details (e.g., date, venue) as needed, with timely notice to sponsors.
- Donating Books
4.1 Book donations must align with Mentored Readers’ mission and values. Books promoting leadership, youth development, and education are encouraged.
4.2 Donated books should be new or gently used. Books in poor condition or deemed inappropriate may not be accepted.
4.3 Mentored Readers retains the right to distribute donated books at its discretion to maximize program impact.
- Payment receipts
5.1 Mentored Readers will provide receipts for contributions upon request.
- Use of Logos and Branding
6.1 Sponsors may use the Mentored Readers logo or branding for promotional purposes only with prior written consent.
6.2 Unauthorized use of Mentored Readers’ branding is strictly prohibited.
- Limitation of Liability
7.1 Mentored Readers is not liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising directly or indirectly from sponsorship or contributions.
7.2 Mentored Readers will take reasonable steps to ensure the success of programs but does not guarantee specific outcomes.
- Amendments
8.1 Mentored Readers reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the website.
By proceeding with your sponsorship or contribution, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
